Whether we are talking about branding, marketing, operations or anything else…they need to be driven by a clear strategy.
As our organizations and our companies move towards more project based work and more remote teams, our ability to deliver strategy in an effective manner will need to change to keep up.
This has led me to an idea called “project driven strategy” and it is a wedding of the concepts of project management and strategy to take a more holistic approach to strategy and one that flows down through the PMO or any other project based part of an organization.
The key to PDS is that thought about strategy, direction, and resource allocation has to start at the top of the organization and flow down.
