This isn’t a fully formed post, but more a few ideas and thoughts that I just wanted to pull together really quickly, since I have been a little negligent in posting the last week or so…
#1. You are most susceptible to marketing messages in early in the morning, before your brain has gathered its wits and put up its filter.
#2. Most people won’t be able to remember one commercial they saw in the last month.
#3. By the time the average child reaches 3 years old in America, he can identify 100 brands!
#4. Nostalgia is effective in marketing because if done correctly it evokes feelings of psychological well-being.
#5. These terms are basically worthless, but they do help sell: “natural,” “organically grown,” “pesticide free,” “no artificial ingredients,” “multigrain,” and “energy."
That’s five to get you through the weekend! Enjoy!
