Yesterday I wrote about doing things the “right” way in a knowledge based economy.
This got me thinking about another thing that is sometimes lumped in with doing things the “right” way and that is doing things in an ethical way.
The two are entirely differently.
I come from a background in the secondary ticketing industry where doing things the “right” way isn’t always the same thing as doing things ethically.
So, what I think is that you can do things the “right” way for your company or in a way that isn’t considered “wrong” by your industry, but in the end that doesn’t mean that they are doing them in an ethical manner.
Maybe next time you are faced with a decision, you will consider both “right” and ethical before you make a decision.
