Operations is an entirely different thing.
Too often we hear organizations talk about how their entire organization is built around projects…and while all good and great organizations use projects to improve and advance what they do, it is not likely that you have an entirely project based organization because there are certain things you are going to have to do that are going to allow your projects to be successful…even if it is only one or two things.
So think about those things that you have to do, even when you aren’t in the middle of the project, and look for ways to improve them….
