A lot of organizations throw around the term “innovation” and they don’t really define it in a way that makes any sense, whatsoever…
Here is the challenge that I give to you:
Are you in a leadership position in your organization? Take the time at your next meeting with your team to lay out an innovation agenda…one that specifically explains what innovation looks like to you and empowers your team to take action on this plan.
Because its likely that you may face some resistance until your determination to innovate is embedded in the organization, set some feedback loops up…things like these are the actions I am going to measure for to ensure that the correct action is begin taken.
