I find myself thinking about skills and education a lot lately. One of the challenges I think our education system faces is that we have gotten to a point where we are afraid to challenge our kids and if we do challenge them, we are afraid if they don’t live up to our expectations.
Also, I think some very useful skills that would be helpful are often missed by our school children…
So here is a list of a few of the skills that I feel are vital to learn early:
* Decision Making
* Risk Management
* How To View Opportunities
* Sales
* Marketing
These are just a few, but I don’t think we are doing our kids any favors by not explaining a little bit of this stuff to them earlier in life.
