I’ve been going through the process of getting my PMP certification and have been studying the framework of the process as laid out by PMI, the organization that offers the PMP certification.
In the course of my studies, I have become attached to the framework and how useful it is to any work you are going to do.
Here is the outline, in case you don’t know what it is:
1. Initiate
2. Plan and Design
3. Execute
4. Monitor and Control
5. Closing
So take this to the bank, you can use this in any project or situation you find yourself in. If you are stuck on something, break it down in the way the framework tells you. I think you will find it quite useful.
