Or, the name of my big race this year is the Mahlon Mayhem 100K.
100K, that’s correct.
In much of what I have talked about and written this year, I have been writing about challenging myself and reinventing myself, and one of my big life time goals since I started running has been to run the Western States 100. To that, you must qualify by running a 50 mile race or better under a certain time.
The cut off for a 100K is 14 hours. Got that?
Last week marked the first week of training for the race. Each week I will do a little recap and I will go over my successes and failures. The ups and downs. And, all of that other garbage.
Plus, I have been thinking about some cool things that will help get people off their butts through my work with Odwalla.
