I know that through my work with Odwalla that I get the chance to touch a few people here and there. And, every chance I get, I try to touch a few more, but to have the chance to have a platform like ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’ to shed light on childhood obesity in America is fantastic!
While I readily acknowledge that what Dean does is extreme. For that matter, the amount I exercise could be considered extreme, but what he does…and what I try to do with Odwalla is simple. We want to spread fitness and health to as many people as possible.
Since I know it unrealistic to think that someone is going to get off the couch and immediately take up a 6 day a week fitness routine…I encourage anyone that I come into contact with to do one thing or two things that can make a difference and build from there.
So here are some suggestions:
Pick one day and take a 30 minute walk
Have soup for lunch
Only eat fried foods once a week
I could go on. And, as I begin to map out my Odwalla promotional schedule, I will.
But, until next time, get out into the world…do something for your health.
