Culture seems to be having a moment in business circles. I don’t know if its the millennials or the push to make everything about them or whatever.
Or, if culture was always on people’s minds.
Whatever, again!
The big thing is that culture has always been important. It is just that culture is like everything in else in the world, what it means changes over time.
When I think of culture, I think of something that is live and vibrant.
I think of something that adapts to the world around it.
I also think of things that are stagnant.
I also think of culture as something that can become mired down.
I think that the challenge for us is that culture has to change and change is tough.
The other thing is that culture is just an extension of strategy and without a good culture, your strategy is likely to suffer.
