When I talked about opportunity cost yesterday, I began jumping around to how opportunity creates a path. But that isn’t really completely true, because every choice creates a path…good or bad, wise or unwise.
And, that is why the Joker comic above is amusing to me.
The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s Batman universe was all about choices.
And, the fact that each choice created a path.
In business, we need to live by the same ideals.
Each choice we make is a path, and that path will lead us somewhere…but we often can’t imagine if that is a good or bad destination.
The problem becomes not making a choice and thinking that means things are going to stay the same.
That couldn’t be further from the truth because not making a choice or choosing a direction is still a choice.
So what direction are you going to go?
