5 Lessons From My Appearance on The Business of Meetings Podcast

I was on Eric Rozenberg’s podcast a few weeks, “The Business of Meetings” and we talked about the future of the meetings, marketing, selling, and more.

Here are a few quick takeaways to encourage you to give the full episode a listen:

You need to be future focused to get through the pandemic: The longer the pandemic goes on, the more likely it is that we won’t go back to anything like the normal we had become accustomed to.

So you need to keep an eye and keep your thinking on where you want to go and who you want to become coming out of the pandemic.

You don’t need courage to change: Change is coming no matter what. What you need courage to do is to take action and make change work for you.

Strategy and tactics: Strategy is where you want to go and tactics are how you get there.

Strategy first.

Then tactics.

Revenue creation is a process: Just like marketing and sales. You have to recognize the flywheel of value, strategy, marketing, and sales and put that to work for you.

Focus on doing things that can’t be replaced: The world tries to push us towards being much the same, only different. Our job is to be unique and to stand out as the special people with unique value that we can be.
