- A lot of times the fastest way to get folks to do something is just by asking. I asked for feedback on my podcast and my newsletter and people were willing to share their thoughts.
- In a lot of cases, we expect that people have a different or better understanding of a situation than they really do. This either stops us from offering an idea or a solution or it stops people from asking because they don’t want to feel like they are out of the loop.
- Just because we have so many people that are able to say they are marketers or understand marketing, that doesn’t mean that any of it is true. To make marketing great again, we need to really focus on helping folks come up with a few baseline marketing concepts that will allow everyone to start from the same jumping-off point.
