I’ve been thinking about a new model to help you frame revenue generation in its right way and I keep coming back to revenue generation is a pyramid with a base that establishes whether or not your ideas are going to be effective and that other important items get stood on top of the base.
I’m going to work on the visual piece of this over the next few days, but here are the 4 stages of revenue:
The base is your strategy: your strategy will make or break you.
You build off of your strategy by having a powerful marketing strategy.
Your brand creates an environment where people want what you are selling.
Sales helps people buy what you have to offer.
I’ll go into more detail on these concepts later, but this is my starting point.
