I had a really great podcast talk with my buddy, Ian Taylor, from bigdog agency in the United Kingdom.

It was really an interesting conversation because Ian talked to me about the way that American sales is way different than UK. In the UK, they focus way more on the demand side and allow that to drive the sales.

Where in the US, we are all about outreach and we see that this isn’t always as effective.

Ian points out how much more effective having more partners on the sales side can be way more effective at selling out an event than having a closed system.

This is important because the UK system does with the primary market what the US market needs the secondary market to create.

Finally, we talk a lot about branding and how everything matters.
