If you were to ask me what the common theme of much of my research has been, it has been the need to return to basics.
What exactly are the basics?
That’s going to vary from industry to industry, but I think there is a certain…before trying to add new ideas or throw new things against the wall, stop and ask yourself how well you are doing the basics.
In marketing, that might mean walking back towards finding out what the value you have and want to share is.
In sales, you might start off by laying out your sales process and the steps along the way.
From the foundation, you can add. But the foundation must be secure.
