I’ve been sitting on the board of an organization for about a year…and we are always talking about the vision.
As the designated “marketing” person, I make the statement that vision is your most important piece of material because it inspires you and your organization to reach towards a higher level.
In too many organizations, we see that the vision is actually stuck down in the muck of day to day activities or a lack of clarity about moving forward.
Now…when you think about your mission or your organization’s vision. Is it clear? Bold? Transformative? Aspirational?
Or, is it humdrum? Small?
Or, worse, is it somewhere in the middle?
