I attend a lot of tech meet ups and conferences and other events where entrepreneurs and executives and people mingle.
A lot of the time I hear people talking about their “start up,” but when pushed on it…it hasn’t launched or has no profit motive.
Keep this in mind before you go throwing your time and money into a project. If it is to be a start up business, it has to have a profit motive.
Anything that has no profit motive is a hobby.
