In many places, we hear about these huge, market altering changes. And, they are met with skewed eyes, or excitement, or any other number of reactions…but the larger the change, brings the larger the risk. While large scale change is sometimes a key to making a difference in an organization, in more cases, small changes and small focuses can make all the difference in the world.

I’ve read that if you improve 1% a day, you will be twice as good in 70 days. And, in an organization, if you are just one percent better at a key performance indicator each day, in a short period of time, you are going to differentiate yourself from your competitors.
