What I just did in the headline is called a “call to action.”
It is the most powerful thing you have in your arsenal when you are doing anything that is marketing related.
Because it tells your audience what you want them to do.
In too many places we hear the term thrown around and we see watered down versions of this, but the key to a call to action is it needs to be simple and specific.
I’ve talked a lot here over the years about needing a strong point of view for you and your marketing.
The same really is at play when you are talking about the call to action.
I’m fond of saying that no one wants a timid consultant. The same is at play with your call to action. People will ignore a wishy washy call to action.
So be bold and specific!
